What happened to you when you came off the pill, did you get any side effects? How long did it take you to get pregnant? The reason i ask is ive been off the pill(Yasmin) for 5weeks now and i've been experiencing lots of side effects that are just like pregnancy symptoms. These symptoms im having have lasted about a week and half then gone off. Dizziness,sickness,headaches,cramps,lower back pain, sore erect nipples and thick white discharge. All these symptoms seem to have gone now apart from dizziness and waves of sickness and now i have thick blue veins on my right boob these have appeared over the last few days. My nipples are erect all the time and a bit sore but no as much as they were a week ago. Ive done three pregnancy tests and they have all been negative. I have been getting what feel like period pains that come and go but still no period! I just feel a little strange can anyone help? Resolved Question: Upper abdominal pain and mid back pain?

Hi all. I have been searching the internet for some advice but maybe one of you has suffered the same thing or are medically trained and could offer me some advice. Since Friday (4 days) i have been suffering with hunger like pains in my upper abdomen right under breast bone. Also, severe back ache right through to the other side between my shoulder blades. The pain is not constant it comes on when i'm hungry and again about an hour afetr i eat. It is worse when i am in bed during the night, waking me from my sleep. When the pain does come on it kind of waves... peaking with pain then minimising, peaking and minimising similar to the tide gushing in and going out again on the beach if you can imagine that. I am also constipated and have severe nausia when the pain strikes. I had the same thing happen about 4 months ago (Feb) the doctors then put it down to indigestion/heartburn and they are now too however i did see a good out of hours doctor the other day who has referred me for a scan (god knows when it is likely to be) he suspected gallstones. right, so today i asked my mum to get me some hairspray, and because i usually buy it, she bought the complete wrong thing. she bought this "shock waves strong define & shine wax" and i just wanted to know, if i were to put this stuff on my side fringe (i'm a girl btw.) would it keep my fringe in place and stuff? or will it just make it go rock hard and horrible? my fringe comes across my forehead and it's short and comes up to about a bit longer than the corner of my eye. i can't go out and get some hairspray now so please don't tell me to do that. i'm not testing it on a bit of my hair either, because if it goes rock hard i'll have to wash my hair again, and i've just dryed and straightened it. thanks? :D x more

The wavelength of electromagnetic waves varies from radio thru visible to x-rays etc, so to me its the FREQUENCY that different. So why do scientists always refer to it as different ENERGIES? I didn't go on all of the rides, we didn't have time plus I was chickening out over going on rides the like of Stealth. Here are the rides that I went on: - Tidal Wave - Nemisis Inferno - X:/ No way out - Collosus - Loggers Leap (for the benefit of my scared friend) - The Water Rapids - Stealth (twice!) Stealth was defininately the best with Collosus coming shortly behind. I didn't go on any of the rides like Slammer or Rush that gave you the impression of free falling - that's my biggest fear and I think next time I go I'll be able to tackle those next :) I didn't go on Saw either (again I chickened at the thought of 100 degree drop). Ana walked to the window, Sky: her child, in her arms. Soft snow fell as tiny teardrops from the dark pregnated clouds. Condensation and mist had already begun to collect on the pane, though soon subsided as the young baby's hand rested on the pale glass. He soon moved to his mother's breast, his hands cold and sharp, but reassuring. But still his delicate, starfish shape hand print lay alone, imprinted in the mist. Unable to resist her urge, Ana lifted her own slender hand to the faded pane, and pressed hard enough so that her lips creased as a wave of pain fell through her body. Outside, the moon waned silenty above the singing sleep of everyone in the town. Yet still Ana had not been able to sleep and instead had chosen to comfort herself by holding her child. The warmth of the young child's heartbeat against her own subtle heartbeat forged a smile through her quiet tears. A simple kiss of hope embedded itself on her lips as she touched the now sleeping child. His hands still spread open, his tiny nails digging into her flushed skin. *How silent and peaceful he is* Ana though, cradling his head by her arm, waiting for his shallow breath to just brush against her fingers. And from the tainted silence, a stirring cry rivered from another room. At first Ana refused to hear the painful scream and instead attended to lying her child in his cradle. Still the newborn had not been awoken by the wail, his eyes still fused together with the love she bore him. But Ana could not ignore the cries now. She could not cry, laugh or speak. Beneath her breath she counted the seconds between cries and waited as the tears edged down her pale cheeks and onto her lips. Even then, despite her tears, Ana felt no emotion. Resolved Question: Did anyone feel like this after conception?

Well lately I've been bloated and I've felt slightly sick, not too bad though.. this sickness feeling is in my throat though and not my stomach.. Sort of like travel sickness.. or sea sickness. Certain smells like Chocolate will make me feel worse if I am going through a wave or nausea.. or cooking meat. For some reason sometimes out of the blue I can taste food, normally raw sausages LOL.. god knows why.. I've never tried one before.. but it's how I would imagine it to taste :S . I've had cramping, like AF pains but not so bad.. more like slight diarrhoea.. but of course, without the rushing to the bathroom. Didn't notice any spotting, but I had been wearing black/pink/red underwear.. Don't usually wear any other colour. Breasts arn't really sore to be honest.. only when something presses against them they will hurt a bit. Cervix is high.. also seeing a lot of CM (sorry if tmi).. it's quite bad.. especially when I have been sat down for a while and I stand up.. sorta.. drips out LOL. Don't say take a test, I'm waiting until my partner finishes his managers course.. he will be away for a little while but not long.. so I'm testing when he comes back :) Not sure how far a long I would be at the moment, I only really started trying two months ago when I came off the pill (was on the pill for a few months, not very long at all).. I was told I can start TTC but my periods may be slightly messed up so do not rely on a late period for pregnancy. I had my bleeding while I was on the pill, and then breakthrough bleeding (but that may have been my period as it was due when I came off the pill). I went into the scan room, an absolute bag of nerves, my hands were shaking - but, there actually IS a very lively baby in there! Everything looked fine, arms and legs were waving around - in fact it took the lady ages to take the leg measurement because every time she thought she had it, the baby jumped away! We saw his/her ribs and spine, and the lady even pointed out the stomach, kidneys, liver etc! It was truely the most amazing thing I have ever seen. x I can't wait for those who are a little behind me [Laula, Baby Doll etc] to have your first scans, I'm getting giddy for you! Oh, question, how are all you pregnant ladies feeling today? I went friday and saturday nights without feeling/being sick and I thought I had cracked it - no, the toilet was my best friend again last night :-( more

Voting Question: very unique computer fezzes problem. help!?

Resolved Question: Best facial wash/scrub/spot treatment for me?

I'm 13 years old and i get spots every so often, not very big ones but when i do get them they seriously annoy me. My skin type is normal in all areas but a bit oily in my -zone area. I am looking for face wash/scrub/spot treatment that will actually get rid of my spots. Atm i used the neutrogena wave, followed by a tea tree toner and a oil free moisturiser, but none of these actually help get rid of my spots. [SORRY ITS LONG] i like this guy at school who is in the year above. he went out of his way to speak to me and he definatley seemed to like me, even before we talked i thought he probably liked me as he made a lot of eye contact. then after we spoke he showed lots of signs of interest including always smiling, waving, saying hi, eye contact, showing off, trying to make me jealous BUT it was always him who made to effort to say hello or smile and wave. and sometimes i didnt even say hi or wave back and i didnt try to make small talk with him either! Then a while after we talked i got my friend to tell him i think hes good looking and about 2 weeks after he stopped greeting me & whenever i look at him he looks straight away and doesnt smile or wave. why is that? the other day my friend even told his best friend that she thinks i might like him and his best friend told him! then when he found out he was staring at me (more than usual) for a couple days. but im shy & i kept looking away & didnt show any signs of interest again! then he has stopped looking so much now. why has he suddenly stopped showing as much interest? is it because i appeared i wasnt interested so he moved on? and did he/does he still like me? more
